Come check out the nature center. The nature center is the home of many displays of animal species and plants native to the Adirondacks. The entire family will enjoy learning about the natural history of the Lake George region. You can participate in nature programs including stream studies, wildflower walks, bird watching and identification, astronomy and evening lectures during the summer months. Also attend one of the many guided hikes offered throughout the summer. The nature and hiking program is designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of ages and experience levels.

HIKING TRAILS

Put on your hiking boots and come enjoy our many miles of hiking trails! Stroll along the nature trail or challenge yourself to Sunrise Mountain that leads to an awesome view of the lake. Trails range from easy to difficult and are well marked. Get a trail map at the Front Desk and hike on your own or attend one of the guided hikes led by our knowledgeable Nature Center staff.
