We will gather via Zoom and are led by Carol Fournier and Rev. Dr. Garth Allen. Centering Prayer is a receptive form of silent prayer in which we experience and open to God’s Presence within us. This method of contemplation assists in the cultivation of a deep relationship with God rooted in classic and contemporary Christian practice. Our time together includes a short reflection on Centering Prayer, a period of silence, followed by a time of Visio and Lectio Divina. Visio Divina is a practice of contemplation and reflection with an image. Lectio Divina is a practice of contemplation and reflection with Sacred readings. All are welcome to join from all faith backgrounds, spiritual frameworks, and life experiences to share the gift of prayer.
