Jeh Kulu means “community” in the Bambara language of Mali and that is exactly what they hope to create with their lively performances. Based in Burlington Vermont, since 1993, Jeh Kulu has been sharing traditional West African dance and drum with the Vermont community and all throughout New England. Their interactive performances feature djembe, doun doun drums, dancing and audience participation. Jeh Kulu will get you up dancing as we build community together.
