“Rattlesnakes R Us.”
Dr. William S. Brown will be giving a lecture about rattlesnakes from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Watson Arts Center. Dr. Brown has been studying timber rattlesnakes in the Adirondacks near Silver Bay for 43 years. Who you gonna call if you see a rattlesnake? Why Bill Brown, of course. He will come collect your rattlesnake, daub red paint on its tail, weigh and measure it and release it far away from humans. Rattlesnakes are protected; it’s illegal to disturb (poke, upset or kill) them. Bill will bring snakes to show and discuss.
