Artist’s Statement by Leslie Milofsky
My earliest memory of making art was using uncooked spaghetti to create a little log cabin with furniture. I was four or five. I’ve had a lifetime of being creative but never relegating my time exclusively to making art. I retired from my primary job a year ago and have been taking oil-painting and watercolor classes to become a better painter. I am also a found materials artist/instructor and intend in my remaining decades to make everything out of anything and anything out of everything. The title of my next chapter is “Creative Aging.”
