Silver Bay YMCA announces Summer Concert Series Lineup
Free Summer Concert Series Lineup announced
Silver Bay – Silver Bay YMCA is very excited to announce the 2025 Summer Concert Series lineup kicking off on Saturday, May 24 and going until Saturday, August 30. There will be no Summer Concert Series on August 16 due to an Evenings of Dance performance.
The Summer Concert Series opens with a performance by Emma Nissen, jazz-pop phenom who became known for her “Jesus and Jazz” style on May 24 at 8 p.m. in the Silver Bay YMCA Auditorium.
The following Saturday performances after Nissen include performances by Connor Garvey (May 31), Mal Maiz (June 7), Profile Reggae Band (June 14), Cold Chocolate (June 21), The Storm Windows (June 28), Kathleen Parks Band (July 5), The Gibson Brothers (July 12), Larry & Joe (July 19), Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra (July 26), Jeh Kulu (Aug. 2), The Psycodelics (Aug. 9), High Horse (Aug. 23), and The Wolff Sisters (Aug. 30).
“The lineup for our Summer Concert Series this year includes artists from varying genres. One week we have a Christian jazz singer, and another we have a funk band. We wanted to change it up this year and make sure we brought some new genres to our stage, and I think we accomplished just that,” Silver Bay YMCA’s Arts and Humanities Supervisor Madeline Drexler stated.
Genres represented in this year’s Summer Concert Series includes Christian jazz, alternative/indie, folk, reggae, Americana, bluegrass, Venezuelan and Appalachian folk music, classical, traditional West African music, funk, and country.
“We’re excited for this year’s lineup as the majority of them will be coming to Silver Bay for the first time,” said Silver Bay YMCA’s Assistant VP of Campus and Conference Programming Chet Lastowski. “We can’t wait to introduce the Silver Bay Community to these performers and these performers to the Silver Bay Community.”
