William Boyd

As one of the newest additions to Silver Bay’s campus, the William Boyd Center offers modern accommodations with the comfort and convenience of a hotel experience. Each room features a private bathroom, air conditioning, and easy access to elevators.

Bayview

Brookside is a large, inviting home at Silver Bay YMCA, designed for families and groups looking for space, comfort, and time together. Silver Bay’s Mountain Music Festival, (SB’s Mtn. Music Fest) hosted by the Silver Bay YMCA, is a mountain music-based festival in the Adirondacks of Upstate New York. Located on the shore of Lake George, SB’s Mtn. Music Fest invites festival goers into a world where music, community and breathtaking scenery converge in every direction.  

Our festival’s intimate performances unfold throughout our historic campus and are designed to leave you with an unforgettable experience. Each space offers a chance to savor the music in comfort, sheltered from the elements while still feeling close to the heart of the mountains. SB’s Mtn. Music Fest is also proud to offer onsite lodging in the form of cottages and hotel-style accommodations. 

Silver Bay YMCA, the organization that puts on SB’s Mtn. Music Fest is a nonprofit that is dedicated to its mission to foster relationships, strengthen communities and nurture spirit, mind and body for all. Established in 1902, Silver Bay has been providing respite to families, helping the local community with its various programs, and providing a space for organizations to conduct trainings, conferences, and retreats for over 100 years.

Silver Bay YMCA prides itself on being family first. For mothers looking for a spot to nurse or pump in private, Silver Bay has a private room set aside. The Front Desk will be able to provide you access to this room. Please note that at this time there is no fridge to store breastmilk in the Lactation Room.

Changing tables can be found in the following locations:

Inn Lobby- There are changing tables in both restrooms.

William Boyd Center- There is a changing table in the family restroom.

Silver Bay Store- There is a changing table in the unisex restroom.

Pets at Silver Bay YMCA 

Pets are welcome on Silver Bay property so long as they are leashed at all times, nonaggressive, and picked up after. Silver Bay YMCA currently has 3 pet-friendly cottages on site: Elm, Juniper, and Sycamore Cottages. No more than two pets per cottage are permitted.

Pets currently are not allowed in any buildings or on any porches of building besides our pet-friendly accommodations.

Pets will need to have all recommended vaccination up to date including but not limited to rabies, distemper, and flea and tick treatments. Silver Bay will need to be provided with vaccination documentation prior to check-in.

Silver Bay YMCA welcomes service animals that assist our guests in daily tasks that keep everyone safe. We do ask that if you plan to bring a service animal with you, that you please pack his or her service vest to help distinguish from other pets that may be visiting Silver Bay at that same time.

*Allowing pets on Silver Bay property and in accommodations may allow the following things to occur; additional costs related to any damages by pet(s) to Silver Bay property, restricted dog breed list, restricted list of animals welcome on Silver Bay property, Non-refundable deposits, cleaning deposits, limited pet-friendly locations, and signed contractual agreements.

Listen to music while surronded by history!

The majority of performances will take place in the Auditorium (pictured above) at Silver Bay YMCA which was built in 1908.

Acoustic sessions will take place on the Inn Porch (built in the late 1800s) while festival workshops will take place in Morse Hall (built in 1905).

Silver Bay’s Mountain Music Festival is an indoor festival, spread throughout various venues on the Silver Bay YMCA campus.

Here’s some items we recommend bringing:
