Bayview Lodge Renovation
Accessibility is a central focus of the new Bayview Lodge design, with improved interior and exterior access to ground-level accommodations and gathering spaces to create a more welcoming experience for all guests. A new ramp connection to Silver Bay Road will also provide easier and more convenient access to nearby program areas, including pickleball courts, Fisher Gym, and other campus amenities, helping guests navigate the property more comfortably and independently.
While Bayview Lodge will be completely rebuilt and thoughtfully redesigned, the total number of guest rooms will remain unchanged at 27. This ensures that the building continues to serve the same number of guests and groups as it does today, while offering a significantly enhanced experience through modern amenities, improved comfort, and a more accessible and inviting design.
With the renovation, Bayview Lodge will operate as a four-season facility, with improvements that strengthen its ability to serve guests comfortable year-round. The renovation provides an important opportunity to reconfigure and protect critical infrastructure, such as relocating and modernizing piping systems, to ensure reliable performance during the coldest months. These enhancements will support a more seamless winter experience, reduce disruptions, and allow guests to fully enjoy Silver Bay’s programs and hospitality throughout the entire year.
Silver Bay is actively working to raise the necessary funds to begin construction in late fall of 2027, with the goal of completing the new Bayview Lodge in time to welcome guests back for summer 2028. This timeline allows us to honor all existing bookings through the 2027 season, ensuring that guests can continue to enjoy Bayview without interruption while the final phases of planning and fundraising are underway.
