Silver Bay YMCA hires COO
SILVER BAY – Silver Bay YMCA is excited to announce that Lucas (Luke) Callahan has accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). Callahan was previously the VP of Guest Experience at Silver Bay.
“In the two years Luke has been with Silver Bay, he has demonstrated a commitment to guests, supporters, staff, our host communities, and our mission. He has contributed greatly to our growth as an organization while maintaining the integrity of our history. I look forward to his continuing contributions in his new role,” Silver Bay YMCA CEO Peter Doliber stated.
Callahan brings a wealth of leadership experience to this role having spent the last two years as VP of Guest Experience at Silver Bay, and before that was the General Manager of Blue Water Manor for 5 years.
In this new role Callahan will be responsible for overseeing Silver Bay’s day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes to ensure Silver Bay’s execution of its mission and overall success.
“As I step into the role of Chief Operating Officer at Silver Bay YMCA, I’m energized by the opportunities ahead,” said Callahan. “My priority is to enhance the guest experience while supporting the dedicated staff who make Silver Bay such a remarkable place. Together, we will build on our legacy of fostering growth, connection, and community. I also look forward to expanding our reach and introducing new audiences to the unique and inspiring environment that Silver Bay offers.”
