SILVER CAMP offers outdoor fun, games, music,
crafts, fitness, and more in age-appropriate groups.

Silver Camp is offered on weekdays from June 26- August 18. Transportation for full-day campers is available for a weekly fee from Hague & Ticonderoga.
SILVER CAMP IS LICENSED BY THE NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH WHICH REQUIRES PRE-REGISTRATION, AND ANNUAL SUBMISSION OF IMMUNIZATION RECORDS.

FULL DAY* 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. HALF DAY 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

CHILDREN’S PAVILION

Ages 6 weeks to 5 years Younger children attend Silver Camp in our Children’s Pavilion. These groups are half-day only except Wee Woozles which has a full-day option. The Pavilion is home-base for the following groups:

ROBINS 6 weeks – 18 months
CRICKETS 19 months – 3 yrs
TURTLES 3-4 years (potty-trained)
WEE WOOZLES 5 yrs

SILVER CAMP TENT

Ages 6-11 years

The following groups use the tents behind the gymnasium as their home base. These groups may choose full or half-day camp. 

WOOZLES  6 – 7 yrs
CHIPPIES 8 – 9 yrs
RAVENS 10 – 11 yrs

TEEN CENTER
(MORSE LOWER LEVEL)

Ages 12-17 years
Headquartered in the lower level of Morse Hall, these groups may choose full or half-day camp. Program may require additional fees for off-site day trips or overnights.

EAGLES 12 – 13 yrs
FALCONS 14 – 17 yrs

Swim Lessons

 

Available June 26- August 18

Monday-Friday, 1:45 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

 

If only all of life’s lessons were this much fun! YMCA Progressive Swim Lessons promote children’s health, safety, and self-esteem, while learning valuable lifelong skills. Registration and additional fees are required. For fees see the table on the following page. Register at the Concierge Desk located in the Inn.

YMCA TEEN CENTER IN TICONDEROGA

The Teen Center is donor-funded and open to area youth, six days a week. 6th to 12th graders can spend their afternoons and evenings at the Teen Center and take part in various activities and programs from basketball, to Leader’s Club, to homework assistance, and more. The Teen Center is FREE, but teens must be registered. Registration forms are available at www.silverbay.org.

YOUTH & GOVERNMENT


YMCA Youth & Government, which is a well-respected national program of the Y that involves thousands of teens nationwide in state-organized, model-government programs. Every January, Silver Bay hosts the local District Conference and coordinates the district’s participation in several state conferences from September through April and serves the school districts of Ticonderoga and Bolton.

AFTERSCHOOL
CHILD CARE

Located at the Ticonderoga Elementary School, this school age program is available for children in grades kindergarten to 6th. Students have access to homework assistance, recreational activities and games. Fees apply. Financial Assistance may be available through our Open Pathways program. LEADERS CLUB

This program provides 7th – 12th graders with personal growth and meaningful group experiences. The teens participate in character development, values education, community service, and other leadership development opportunities. The Leaders Club meets biweekly at the Teen Center and is free, however club members participate in fundraising activities to off-set costs.
