Scout Day at the Bay
Join us for Scout Day at the Bay! This year, the event will be held over 2 days: Saturday June 29 and Sunday June 30. Saturday will have more structured events while on Sunday scouts will be free to participate in Silver Bay YMCA’s program areas. For a tentative schedule outline, please see below:
For Cub Scouts – Saturday, June 29, 2024
8:30 a.m.: Check-in time and welcome activity
9 a.m. – 12 p.m: a structured program to earn a belt loop- Cub Scouts will earn the respective belt loop: Tiger (Tigers in the Wild), Wolf (Paws on the Path), Bear (Bear Habitat), Webelos (Webelos Walkabout), Arrow of Light (Outdoor Adventurer)
12 p.m. – 5 p.m.: Silver Bay open programming (Archery, Boathouse, Climbing Wall, High-Ropes Course, Beaches, Hiking, etc.)
5 p.m.: Council Ring Campfire program (hot dog dinner/s’mores)

All-day Silver Bay programming open to registered Cub Scout families

For Scouts BSA
Silver Bay open programming (Archery, Boathouse, Climbing Wall, High-Ropes Course, Beaches, Hiking, etc.) when not participating in Merit Badge activities.
Merit Badges:

* Each course is limited to 8 participants, Scouts can take both courses if they want.
