Silver Bay YMCA Conference and Family Retreat Center

Silver Bay YMCA Conference and Family Retreat Center on the shores of Lake George is the ideal location for your next conference, family reunion, family vacation, wedding, or team building & leadership training.  Whether you’re bringing your board of directors or a scout troop, Silver Bay has activities and programs for each member of your group. Silver Bay’s waterfront campus is 700-acres of fun within the Adirondack Park of New York State.

Silver Bay has a variety of accommodations to fit all groups’ needs and budgets, from private-bath rooms and shared-bath rooms in historic buildings to private cottages located on the periphery of the campus.

At the heart of Silver Bay are dozens of activities for all ages, including archery, boating, crafts, music and much more. As a guest of Silver Bay YMCA, you can swim and paddle on one of the cleanest lakes in the world, hike our many groomed trails, or relax on the Inn porch in one of our famous rockers. While many people enjoy our property throughout the year, please note that a number of activities and amenities are only available during our peak summer season (late June through mid-August).

Silver Bay also offers an array of meeting spaces to fit the needs of your group; ranging from quaint enclosed pavilions and historic halls to a 700-person auditorium. As a courtesy to all conferences and groups, Silver Bay provides standard audio/visual as well as conferencing equipment and set up at no additional charge.

As a community outreach organization, we provide services to our regional youth, adults, and seniors through our:

  • Youth & Government program
  • Fitness and Social programs for youth and adults
in the winter and spring months
  • Pastoral Respite Ministry
  • Military R & R Program
  • Silver Bay Cancer Respite
  • Vacations Made Possible
